But, there have been moments where I have used my own blog to look back on things I have previously made and need to remake. It’s a very useful tool to refer back to, which made me think, if I’m not updating it regularly and I need to look back on something - it won’t be there!
One of my main issues, aside from the lack of time thing, is that I don’t use a laptop at home and finding a suitable app that will upload to Blogspot has proved tricky - if you know of any please do let me know.
I’ve been saying to myself for sometime now that I need to return to the blog, it’s a great way of sharing ideas and keeping in touch.
You might be wondering what the photo is about ... well I was simple testing to see if I could upload a photo via the Safari website - I can, as you can see, but it’s not a totally smooth movement and I have to keep scrolling in and out to see what I am typing!
I used to use the Blogger app, which was brilliant, but seems to have gone now.
Anyway, back to the photo. It’s an art canvas smudged in Decoart Metalic and Pearlized paints then hot glue blobbed on the top and repainted. It’s an interesting effect and loads of fun.
I did this in a lunchtime craft group I tutor where we only have an hour to ‘play’. This technique gives instant gratification and a fabulous result... here are the ones the others did :)
Well that turned out to be two blog posts in one really didn’t it? I’ve proved to myself that it can be done via Safari, but there must be an easier way :) please share if you know.
